Adolph Coors III

Skiing was always a passion to Adolph, the grandson of the founder of the Coors Brewing Company. He was an avid skier and an active promoter of Colorado as Ski Country, USA. He was one of the earliest members of the Arlberg Ski Club at Winter Park, joining the club in 1938. In 1946, Ad helped found Aspen Ski Corporation and served on the Board of Directors until his tragic death in 1960.
