Arthur Kidder

Despite losing a leg at age seven, Art was an active and successful athlete in many sports. He began skiing at the age of 40 and for 20 years, he was a competitor, ski patrolman, and chief timer for countless races. During World War II, he was asked to write or visit with young amputee victims. He responded to every request offering encouragement and showing young men they could continue to be active and successful.
