Ed Taylor
While attending the Colorado School of Mines, Ed helped organize the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association. He assisted in the formation of the National Ski Patrol and served as Executive Vice President of American Snoblast Corporation. There, he pioneered snow removal and avalanche control techniques and was influential in the War Department’s decision to train ski troops. During World War II, he was Assistant Director of the Air Force Arctic Search and Rescue program.
