Frank is noted as Colorado's best downhill racer between 1934 and 1940. Consistently a top finisher in slalom and downhill races, he won the 1936 slalom race at Estes Park, the slalom championship at Berthoud Pass, and the downhill race at Sun Valley in 1939. He was the President of the Southern Rocky Mountain Ski Association from 1939 to 1942 and during 1946 and 1947, he was General Manager of the Aspen Ski Corporation.
