Sandy Treat
During World War II, Sandy volunteered for the 10th Mountain Division. He returned to Colorado in 1986 and became one of the most dominating male Masters skiers of his class. In 2009, he had a serious crash that ended his career, but his commitment to Colorado skiing continued. He put his time and effort into Foresight Ski Guides to help visually impaired skiers and the Vail Veterans Program helping bring injured soldiers to Colorado.
