Thor Groswold Jr.
Thor competed in downhill, slalom, cross country and jumping events at Western State College. Skilled at officiating ski competitions, he became Chairman of the Certified Officials Association and co-authored the first timing manual for officials of the Rocky Mountain Division. At Winter Park, he directed the Nordic program for 18 years, and was the first Vice President of Finance. He later served as Senior Vice President until his retirement in 1987.
