Through the Lens Returns with Presentation led by Matt Renoux, 9News
Our popular speaker series returns Wednesday, January 26th at the Colorado Snowsports Museum with special guest speaker Matt Renoux. This talk, “Beijing Olympics – Who & What to Watch” will be in-person and will also be available on Zoom. We will start the program at 5:30pm at the CSM in Vail, Colorado, with beer, wine and light appetizers; speaker will begin at 6pm MST. If you’d like to join us in person, we ask that all guests show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the event.
We invite you to join us in diving deeper into the world of snow sports by learning about certain topics Through the Lens of industry professionals, scholars, researchers, and more. All in person events are $20 for Museum Members with a reserved seat and $25 for non-museum members, with proceeds going to support the Colorado Snowsports Museum and Hall of Fame in continuing our educational programs.
The Colorado Snowsports Museum kicks off Through the Lens this season with a talk led by Matt Renoux with 9News, Wednesday January 26th. We invite Matt to give an inside look at the upcoming 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games – held February 4th - 20th. He will give our audience an overview of the must-see events and athletes to watch. On this night, we also welcome our guests to take a look at our new exhibition “2022 Beijing Olympic Uniforms: Spyder & Haze Collaboration”. This exhibit will premiere Wednesday January 26th in the morning.

Join us on March 23rd for a presentation led by Rudi Hartmann, Professor at UC Denver. "Winter Sports & Wildlife" will feature a panel of experts, including Jake Ivan, Liz Roberts, and Cal Orlowski. They will discuss how the Canadian Lynx and outdoor enthusiasts share the Vail Pass recreation area followed by a Q&A.
