H. Benjamin Duke Jr.
During World War II, Ben served with distinctions in the 10th Mountain Division. After service, he moved to Colorado where he was elected to the Board of Directors of Vail Associates in 1966 where he served for nearly 20 years. To honor his relationship with the 10th Mountain Division, he conceptualized and funded the 10th Mountain Room at the Denver Public Library and was one of the founders of the 10th Mountain Division Resource Center.
