Harold Sorensen
Harold immigrated to America in 1929. He was a two time member of the NSA’s All-American ski team and was a runner-up at the ski jumping’s national championship twice. In 1946, he became a teacher for youth at the Denver Post-Winter Park Ski School, a free program for 4-18 year olds. In 1971, he received the Russell Wilder Memorial Award in recognition of the year’s most outstanding work with youth in skiing.
