Kevin Delaney
Kevin, a Boulder native, is a snowboarding pioneer. He moved to Telluride in 1986 and started the area’s first snowboarding instruction program. 2 years later, he won the overall title at the U.S. National Snowboarding Championship. After moving to Vail to design and manufacture a new type of snowboard, he won the 1992 U.S. Professional Men’s Super-G Championships. In 1993, he won the first International Snowboarding Federation (ISF) Two-Year World Championship overall title.
