Lou Dawson
Lou is one of the world’s foremost experts on ski mountaineering and backcountry skiing. A Colorado native, he was the first person to ever climb and ski all 54 of Colorado’s 14,000 foot mountains. In addition to mountaineering, he is also an accomplished author. He has published several books including Wild Snow, a History of North American Ski Mountaineering, the first book published to extensively cover the history of ski mountaineering in North America.
