Don, a former United Airlines executive, is credited with bringing the travel and ski industries together for the first time in the early 1960s. Among many accomplishments, he established the first Ski Information Centers in Airports, organized ski packages for airlines, and developed Colorado’s first promotional ski films. He has received the Silver Aspen Award for his “dynamic contributions to the Colorado Tourist Industry,” and was named to the original Colorado Olympic Commission.
