Following the exciting first screening in Colorado, we are delighted to continue this extraordinary journey through history in Vail, Colorado — a place deeply connected to the legacy of the legendary 10th Mountain Division. It was in the rugged mountains of Colorado, at Camp Hale, that thousands of American soldiers trained for the challenges of mountain warfare during World War II. Their courage, sacrifice, and determination helped shape a remarkable chapter in American military history, leaving a legacy that continues to inspire generations.
Now, we are honored to bring this story to Vail, where the memory of the 10th Mountain Division remains an integral part of the region’s heritage. Through this special screening at the Colorado Snowsports Museum, we pay tribute to the men who trained in these mountains, honoring their service and preserving their stories for future generations.
Some stories are never left behind. They remain etched in the mountains, in the places where history was made, and in the memories passed down from one generation to the next. Bob Dole: A Walk Through History explores the late US senator’s World War II military service, legacy, and historical impact, followed by a Q&A with Luciano La Valle, creator and producer of the documentary short and media project.
When you purchase your ticket you are added to the guest list. You will not be sent a physical ticket.
